Over a period of about 12 years, 45 accelerometric stations have been installed in many municipalities of the Basilicata region (Italy). The seismic events recorded by this network constitute an important archive for site effect studies, to estimate local seismic response and soil-structure interaction. Since the seismic events recorded by this network were recorded on the urban soils, they can certainly be used in the framework of seismic microzonation and earthquake engineering.
