In the immediate aftermath of the destructive Mw 6.8 earthquake in the High Atlas mountains, a temporary network was installed for 54 days around the epicenter for aftershock monitoring. The instruments used are SmartSolo IGU-16HR 3C instruments. Due to the limited battery (max. 30 days of continuous recording), each of the 6 stations have been equipped with two sensors, where the second sensor has been programmed to start 25 days after installation, to assure continuous recordings for up to two months.
