This dataset captures the semi-structured qualitative interviews for the study - Curriculum Decolonization in the University of Cape Town: Research, Policy, and Practice. The study’s broad question is what does curriculum decolonization entail at UCT concerning research, policy, and practice? The title page and abstract of the thesis are included to provide foundational background and understanding of the dataset. The metadata captures information from eleven interviews, while the seven transcript data capture data from participants that consented to publish their data and knowledge. Average interview duration is around 60-minutes and average number of words in the transcript is 8,000. The study was supervised by Nomkhosi Xulu-Gama, domiciling at Sociology Department, University of Cape Town.
