I did a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Brasília in 2017 and participated in research activities at the University of California (UCR) and Work Mission at the University of Leiden. I have a Ph.D. in Information Science from the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo - ECA/USP (2010), where I received the USP Outstanding Thesis Award in the area of Applied Social Sciences. I attended a bachelor's degree in Library Science and Information Science at the Federal University of São Carlos - UFSCar (2002). I was coordinator of the Graduate Program in Information Science at UnB (2018-2020). I was editor of the Journal Comunicação & Informação (UFG) between (2013-2015). I am a reviewer for the journals Scientometrics, Ibero-American Journal of Information Science, Anales de Documentación, Transinformación, Revista em Questão, Brazilian Journal of Information Science: Research Trends and Digital Journal of Librarianship and Information Science. I am currently a professor in the undergraduate course in librarianship at the Faculty of Information Science (FCI), University of Brasília (UNB). I am a professor at the Postgraduate Program in Information Science at UNB (PPGCinf), where I advise master's and doctoral students. I worked as a collaborator professor of the Graduate Program in Communication at UFG (2013-2015). I was coordinator of the Specialization course in Information Management and Assessment at the same university. I have been researching, especially, in the areas of Information and Communication Technologies applied to the production, extraction, processing and analysis of data, Communication and dissemination of science, Construction of indicators, Bibliometric, Scientometric and Almetric Methods and Techniques, study of the relations between Science and Technology, Graduate Program Evaluation, Interdisciplinary Studies, Internationalization of Science, Information and Information Society, Communication and Citizenship.
