Michael J. Bojdys joined King's College London in 2020 as Reader in Chemistry and PI of the ERC-funded "Functional Nanomaterials Group". He holds a position as Guest professor in Organic Materials Chemistry at Humboldt-University zu Berlin. His research goal is to achieve noble-metal free, organic semiconductors for logical gates, energy storage and sensing. Michael is a member of the “Young Leaders in Science” at the World Economic Forum 2018 and 2019.
Previously, Michael held a fellowship of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) at the TU Berlin (Germany) (2014). He worked as a PostDoc at the University of Liverpool (UK) (2010 to 2013), as a PhD student (2006 to 2009) at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces in Potsdam (Germany). He graduated as Master of Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge (UK) (2006).
