My background is in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering, and I specialised in computational methods with particular emphasis on Computational Fluid Dynamics. I enjoy working with interdisciplinary teams across Aerospace, Chemical and Civil Engineering and collaborate with Scientists and Mathematicians in research and educational contexts. My work has focused on Turbulent Boundary Layers and their separation in highly loaded aerodynamic surfaces, atomisation and droplet entrainment in two-phase flows, and Tidal Renewable Energy.
Beyond my core expertise in the development and application of complex frameworks for Computational Fluid Dynamics, I am also developing techniques for processing, analysing and visualising the vast amount of data that modern numerical frameworks produce.
I am also active in outreach and communication via publishing in highly-regarded journals, producing technical documentation for independent projects, and supporting independent projects via online platforms.
