She completed a Bachelor's degree and a Degree in Biological Sciences at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), between 2012 and 2017. She obtained a Master's degree in Botany at UFPR in 2018 with a Dissertation on the phylogeny of the genus Anathallis (Orchidaceae) and the characterisation of the plastid genome of a species of the same genus. She obtained the PhD title in Ecology and Conservation at UFPR in 2023 with a thesis on the biogeography of Neotropical orchids, the comparative study of the plastid genomes of species from the subtribe Pleurothallidinae (Orchidaceae), and the phylogeography of an endemic species from the Atlantic Forest of the same subtribe. Part of her doctorate was developed at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, between 2022 and 2023. She has experience in Molecular Biology, Phylogenetic Systematics and Bioinformatics (various software, R programming language, and is interested in learning more about programming in Python). She is currently a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Department of Genetics at UFPR, with a project on functional genetics using RNA interference in fungi associated with citrus.
