PhD (2020) and Master (2014) in Information Science from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (PGCIN/UFSC). Graduated in Library Science (2009) from the Federal University of Mato Grosso/Rondonópolis (UFMT). She is Adjunct Professor at the Department of Information Sciences of the Faculty of Library Science and Communication at Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). She is a Researcher at the Brazilian Institute of Information Science and Technology (IBICT); Collaborating Professor in the Graduate Program in Information Management at the State University of Santa Catarina (PPGInfo/UDESC); South Regional Director (Management 2023-2026) at the Brazilian Federation of Associations of Librarians, Information Scientists and Institutions (FEBAB) and; Member of eCÓDICE, a repository of online events. Experience in Information Science, with interest in the following topics: information sources; ecosystems of startups and innovation; entrepreneurship; technology and innovation; innovation in libraries; open innovation; open science. He is Vice-Leader of the Research Group on Management and Sustainability in Information Science (GPSCIn/UFSC). She is a member of the Research Group on Information (GPINFO/UFSC); the Laboratory for Information Metrics Studies on the Web (Lab-iMetrics); the Laboratory of the Ecosystem of Brazilian Scientific Research (LaEPeCBr/IBICT); the Observatory Group of the Labor Market for Information Professionals in the Digital Age (OMTID-ECA/USP) and; the Technical Committee of Document, Information and Knowledge Management of the Association of Business and Information Professionals (ABEINFO). Her Ph.D. thesis, under the supervision of Ursula Blattmann, was about Information Sources in the Ecosystem of Startups in Florianópolis. She did a Sandwich PhD at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, under the supervision of professor doctor José Antonio Moreiro González.
