My research area aims to understand the processes that govern the occurrence of great earthquakes, the seismic cycle and subduction, as well as how this affects Geodetic Reference Systems. I use GNSS observations from a large number of continuous stations to estimate the different parts of the surface seismic cycle, as well as high sampling rates for rapid earthquake characterization. To this we add InSar and gravimetric and seismological observations, which allow us to correlate the different signals that occur during the seismic cycle.
