My research interests are the physics of very high energy (VHE) gamma-ray emission from pulsars and the development of detectors for imaging atmospheric Cherenkov telescopes. I am currently working on the study of the VHE gamma-ray emssion from the Vela pulsar with the H.E.S.S. telescopes, and on the development of the electronics for the CHEC camera, one of the proposed designs for the next-generation Cherenkov Telescope Array. I have been previously working on studying the VHE gamma-ray emission of the Crab pulsar, and in the camera and readout upgrades of the H.E.S.S. and MAGIC Cherenkov telescopes.
