Marino De Luca is researcher at the Department of Culture, Education, and Society of the University of Calabria, where he coordinates a research project funded by the MUR (Ministry of University and Research) for Marie Sklodowska-Curie Research fellows on conspiracy theories. From 2019 to 2022, he was a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Research Fellow at the Department of Politics - School of Law, Politics, and Sociology of the University of Sussex. Currently, he is a member of the scientific committee of the Italian Electoral Studies Association (SISE) and part of the editorial board of the Italian Journal of Electoral Studies (QOE/IJES). His research focuses on political parties, elections, intra-party democracy, political communication, populism, and conspiracy theories. His work has been published in journals such as French Politics, Italian Political Science Review, Communist and Post-Communist Studies, and British Politics.
